Northstar was a pop punk/emo band in the mid-2000s that I found out about through my older brother. They never really blew up and broke up after just 2 albums. But this song, originally an acoustic track, is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's one of the first songs I learned to play and sing at the same time. I think I've tried to cover this song at least 5 different times, but none of those times ever felt 'good enough'. I'm sure in a year I'll look back and find something else I "should've" added, but I'm just happy to share this song with the world.
