I won't go super in-depth to things, but this song was written and revised throughout a couple years of fighting depression. And for a while it didn't have the big final chorus at the end of it. But thanks to a lot of amazing friends, family, and other people supporting me, things started looking up. And eventually the final section of the song started to take shape once I was able to breathe for what felt like the first time in years. Depression really sucks and I feel for anyone who's going through it and hope you're doing alright.
